Chuah grew up showing great enthusiasm for various sports and fitness training. Having suffered from injury in martial art from an early age and struggled to return to it, Chuah understood its agony in a very personal way. Thus, he decided to pursue a degree in physiotherapy.

His personal experience with sports injury made Chuah very passionate in treating it. He employed a combination of soft tissue mobilisation, dry needling, movement re-education in his rehabilitation approach.

Realising the limitation of conventional physiotherapy and having been exposed to rehab Pilates and how it works wonder, he proceeded to be trained as a STOTT Pilates instructor to further enhance musculoskeletal conditioning in his practice. The main aim of his approach, apart from ridding the injury, is to internalise mind-body awareness into his clients to prevent future injury.

A crab cannot teach its kids to walk straight. Being still actively running, hiking, playing racquet games, and swimming, Chuah understands exactly how the body interacts with various environments through movement.

MOVEMENT, to him, is one of the BEST MEDICINE. He believes everybody should be given a chance to move freely again, regardless of the severity of their injury. Towards that noble goal he strives.
